Habiba has over 10 years’ experience in management consulting and in non-profits  including 80,000 Hours. She  has both studied and worked at Oxford University and is a qualified barrister. She is the granddaughter of a TB survivor and co-founded Spiro in 2023 to expand TB prevention and care to those who need it most.

Dr. Syed Hussain Hadi, a qualified medical doctor with a Master’s in Public Health, brings extensive executive-level experience from his tenure with the National TB Control Program of Pakistan. He specializes in strategic planning and public health policy development.

Mahnoor Siddique is a public health specialist and Fulbright Scholar from Tulane University. She works for Spiro’s partner, Momentum Ventures and oversees the TB Shield work that Spiro funds in Pakistan. Her experience spans climate–health policy,  working with Gavi and on Pakistan’s first immunisation LMS platform.

Dr. Shazia Shaikh is a public health and programme management professional with an MBBS and a MPH from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She brings over 10 years of management experience, including experience leading and supporting public health and development programmes in Pakistan. 

Maya holds a BSc in Geography with Economics and an MSc in Development Studies, both from LSE. At Ultra Philanthropy, she wrote grant recommendations and conducted cost-effectiveness analyses, and she has also worked in operations at Probably Good. She supports Spiro across program operations, financial systems, and organisational growth.
